Steadfast Films

While tinkering around with my iPod this past weekend, and looking to load some surf-related footage onto it, I remembered that the Steadfast Films production "Making for the Sea" was a REALLY good downloadable surf film released a few years ago. It features NY and NJ surfers escaping their hectic, urban environments by "making for the sea" to find solace and release in the ocean. It is a "Shelter"-esque film and well-worth seeing.

A quick check of my bookmarked favorites revealed that the site is still active, the download is still available, and since it is in quicktime format, it is easily loaded on an iPod. Download it and view it; you won't regret it. I do recommend downloading the "Large" version, even if you are going to view it in a small window as the "small" download is very small and pixelates even on my iPod screen.
