Surfrider has three great events over the next few weekends. Here is a brief description of each.

Belmar Seafood Festival – 6/7-6/8 (this weekend) 11AM – 7PM The New Jersey Seafood Festival in Belmar combines a culinary celebration of seafood delights with a day of fun. The Annual event will once again unite master chefs, fine artists and crafts people along with musicians from around the state. The Jersey Shore Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation will have a table at the festival again this year. Please stop by the table to learn more about the chapter and our local campaigns. Out There Showing – 6/14 at 8:30PMThe new surf movie Out There will have its area premier at the Stone Pony on Saturday, June 14th. Of course, Teton Gravity Research’s film has the world’s best surfers in the best surf locations in the world, but it also explores some of the environmental problems in those locations. International Surf Day at Brick Beach III - 6/21 12(noon) - DuskEnjoy an amazing day of surfing, learning and sharing! Learn about and share ideas in our open forums to discuss environmental issues threatening our beaches and oceans and how you can help. Learn about seaside wildlife from local naturalists. There will be children’s activities and games, as well as, free giveaways and demos from Billabong and local surf shops.
