Spindrift Surfboard for sale- reduced to $225

OK, eastcoastsurfer.com fans, it's time for some spring cleaning, which includes selling off a number of boards. First up is a 5'8" x 22" x 2.5" Sprindrift Keel fish. One small ding on tip of tail during shipping was expertly and perfectly repaired, so zero water intrusion and can't detect it by touch. Slight stresses at bases of keel fins (but zero damage to boxes), but have held up just fine over the last year since it happened). Other than that, excellent condition and ready to surf or hang on the wall as rideable surf art.

NJ to HI travel blog

Longtime acquaintance "Moonie" recently relocated from NJ to HI and chronicled the move and his time now spent there. An entertaining collection of words and photos as he drove cross-country, spent some time exploring the CA coast, and eventually made his way over to the rock.

Why you should never bail your board

This video not an NJ clip (it's C-street in CA) and is a bit brutal to watch, but a good reminder as to why you should never bail your board.

Word is the guy who ate the bailed longboard was unconscious for 3 minutes and got 27 stitches to the face.

Well, obviously the high pressure held off much longer than originally modeled, so instead of going offshore and blowing conditions down and out by daybreak, it created a "backdoor cold-front" boomin' South swell, testament t0 how much can change when slight changes/inaccuracies happen in the models.

A few videos of the results have been showing up on YouTube; here are a few until I find some more.

I'll be honest with you, it's F*(King killing me I was out of town and missed this one.
